So it's that time of year again and your stuck being single on that oh so very special holiday called Valentines Day. It's a great holiday if you have a special someone but what if you don't? You're left in the dumps feeling sorry for yourself and hating every couple you see.
This year instead of being all depressed, why not have some fun! I've decided to put a list of things that will keep your mind off of Cupid and change the way you see Valentines Day as a single.
All the Single Ladies...
Get together with your single gal pals! Instead of being all alone why not surround yourself with your single girlfriends and have some fun.
Bling Bling Caching!
Since you don't have a significant other to spend money on go on a shopping spree. Why not treat yourself to some new clothes, new hair, candy, etc! Who cares! Valentines is all about love so why not show yourself some love! Just at a cost.
Movie Night.
Grab a warm blanket, some hot cocoa, and a movie. For the love of God do not watch The Notebook! Are you trying to make yourself more self loathing??? Grab a comedy but make sure it's not a romantic comedy. Fill yourself with laughter not tears. Usually anything with Adam Sandler will do just not Fifty First Dates or Click (I cried in that one)! Maybe even watching the new movie Paddington!
Bakers Gonna Bake Bake Bake..
Just because your single doesn't mean you have to go the day without a cupcake or some cookies. Invite some friends over and have some fun while baking. Nothing says I'm enjoying Valentines Day like eating too much sweets!
Spa Day!!!
Go out and treat yourself to a facial, message, manicure, and pedicure. Heck go get a mud bath if you like!
Spend It With Loved Ones
After all it's the day of love so go spend some time with your family. Enjoy their company and if they're anything like my family you may still even get gifts at the age of 22!
